Hi, I’m Cathy

A Registered Psychotherapist with over seven years of experience supporting children, youth, and families in both hospital and community mental health settings. My practice is focused on child intervention, parent coaching, and helping families navigate the complex emotional landscape that can come with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, OCD, depression, emotion regulation challenges, and other life stressors.

I provide evidence-based therapy for children and adolescents, while also offering a safe, supportive space for parents to explore their own emotions and develop strategies to strengthen the parent-child relationship. I believe that empowering caregivers is a vital part of helping young people thrive.

My approach is client-centered and collaborative. I work to truly understand each child’s experience, building a strong therapeutic alliance through a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment where clients feel heard, valued, and respected. I draw on a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

As your child’s therapist, I will work closely with both you and your child to create a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs. My goal is to support them in building emotional resilience, learning new coping tools, and developing the confidence to face life’s challenges.

If you feel I may be a good fit to support your child and family, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. Let’s explore how we can work together to support your child’s growth and well-being.
